Payne Rocks Big Easy 69.1...

matt2010 30-34 National Champion Matthew Payne of Columbia Heights, finished fifth among amateur men (1st 30-34) this morning at New Orleans 69.1, which due to high wind and water was converted to a duathlon. Pro winners were Germany's Sebastian Kienle and the ever-amazing Julie Dibens of the UK. Overall amateur winners were James McCurdy of Auburn, AL and Sarah... Piampaino of New York City. Both of these AGers have raced brilliantly on other occasions this season and are already on the AOY radar.
